The Senior Mechanic will lead the repair and maintenance of vehicles, providing expert-level technical knowledge and guidance to junior mechanics. This role requires strong diagnostic skills, extensive experience in automotive repair, and the ability to manage complex repair tasks efficiently.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a mechanic, with a focus on [specific types of vehicles or systems].
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostics, and repair techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair a wide range of mechanical issues, including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
- Oversee and mentor junior mechanics, providing training and support as needed.
- Perform routine maintenance services and inspections to ensure vehicles operate safely and efficiently.
- Utilize diagnostic equipment to identify problems and determine appropriate repair solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and services performed.
- Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers to explain repair needs and provide estimates.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain a clean, organized work area.
