Job Title: SEO Manager (SEO, AI Search & GEO)Job Summary
We are looking for a highly experienced SEO Manager with 7+ years of proven experience in driving organic growth through Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), and AI Search Optimization. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of traditional SEO, emerging AI-powered search platforms (ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, Microsoft Copilot), and semantic search principles.
This is a leadership role requiring someone who can develop and execute SEO strategies, manage a high-performing SEO team, collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders, and deliver measurable business outcomes. The candidate should possess excellent communication, analytical, and project management skills, with a proven track record of improving organic visibility, traffic, and conversions across diverse industries.
Key Responsibilities
SEO Strategy & Organic Growth
- Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies to improve organic traffic, search rankings, and lead generation.
- Define SEO roadmaps aligned with business objectives and client goals.
- Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, search intent mapping, and topical authority planning.
- Build scalable content strategies using semantic SEO and entity-based optimization.
- Monitor industry trends, search algorithm updates, and AI search developments.
AI Search & Generative Engine Optimization (GEO)
- Develop optimization strategies for AI-powered search platforms including ChatGPT, Google Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, Microsoft Copilot, and Google AI Overviews.
- Implement Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) best practices to improve discoverability in AI-generated responses.
- Optimize content using semantic search principles, structured data, E-E-A-T, and entity optimization.
- Collaborate with content teams to create authoritative, AI-friendly, and citation-worthy content.
- Continuously evaluate emerging AI search trends and recommend innovative optimization techniques.
Technical SEO
- Conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits and implement recommendations.
- Optimize website architecture, crawlability, indexation, internal linking, structured data, XML sitemaps, canonicalization, and Core Web Vitals.
- Work closely with developers to ensure SEO best practices are incorporated into website development.
- Monitor website performance using Google Search Console, GA4, and technical SEO tools.
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and manage the SEO team, ensuring continuous learning and high performance.
- Allocate projects, review deliverables, and maintain quality standards.
- Conduct regular knowledge-sharing sessions on SEO, AI Search, and industry best practices.
- Define team KPIs and monitor performance against business objectives.
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for key clients regarding SEO strategy and performance.
- Conduct client meetings, strategy presentations, and quarterly business reviews.
- Translate technical SEO concepts into business-friendly recommendations for stakeholders.
- Build strong client relationships through proactive communication and strategic consulting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, content writers, and account managers.
Reporting & Analytics
- Monitor and analyze SEO performance using Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, Looker Studio, and other analytics platforms.
- Prepare detailed monthly and quarterly reports highlighting traffic, rankings, conversions, ROI, and business impact.
- Present insights and recommendations to senior management and clients.
- Identify opportunities through data analysis and competitor benchmarking.
