Design and develop mechanical and pneumatic components using 2D/3D modeling, parts lists, and data sheets
- Perform design calculations, simulations, and technical feasibility studies
- Manage new product development (NPD) and special purpose machine (SPM) projects
- Support production with changes, cost optimization, and quality improvements
- Convert and optimize existing designs into standardized 3D drawings
- Participate in product development committees, track project schedules, and handle engineering changes
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders for sampling, concessions, and complaint resolution
- Promote innovation, continuous improvement, and flexibility in design processes
Your qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree Mechanical Engineering, or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME) with relevant experience
- 4 to 6 years of experience in design & development of components, NPD, SPM, and machine/valve/PUPM design
- Hands-on experience with mechanical calculations and simulations
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software such as Creo, SolidWorks, or equivalent
- Good understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Experience interacting with suppliers and cross-functional teams
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
- Proficiency in CAD software, simulation tools, and project documentation
