Key Responsibilities
- Work on overall vehicle development and packaging integration
- Develop and validate vehicle packaging concepts
- Perform modelling using UG NX (Surfacing, NX Tubing, NX Electrical)
- Conduct A-Class surface quality checks
- Evaluate body design standards and manufacturing feasibility
- Participate in design reviews and integration discussions
- Manage vehicle BOM, configurations, and engineering change workflows
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for integration and validation
Technical Knowledge Required
Vehicle Systems Knowledge:
- Cockpit system, Centre Console, Seating, Interior & Exterior trims
- Tailgate mechanism
- Exhaust system, Fuel system, Hydraulic lines
- Axles, Steering system, Suspension, Towing mechanism
- Cooling module, HVAC system
- Engine, Engine peripherals, Transmission, Engine mounts
- Crash behavior and pedestrian protection
EV / Hybrid Knowledge (Basic Understanding):
- Hybrid and Electric vehicle architecture
- High voltage battery systems
- On-board charger, Power electronics
- Charging socket, E-motor
Tools & Systems:
- UG NX (Strong hold on Surfacing Mandatory)
- NX Tubing & NX Electrical
- PDM / PLM tools / Virtual Reality tools
- MS Office Suite
- Knowledge of GCIE (Global Car Information Exchange)
Additional Knowledge:
- Vehicle ergonomics
- Vehicle regulations & homologation requirements
- Understanding of manufacturing feasibility studies
