- Pre-operative preparation: Check surgical rooms, sterile supplies, and equipment.
- Intra-operative support: Assist surgeons and anesthetists as a scrub or circulating nurse.
- Infection control: Maintain absolute aseptic techniques and monitor biomedical waste disposal.
- Staff management: Lead, schedule, and train junior nursing staff and OT technicians.
- Inventory control: Manage surgical instruments, drugs, and implants; report faulty tools to maintenance.
- Patient records: Document surgical counts, checklists, and patient status updates accurately
