We are seeking a Lead Business Analyst - Oil & Gas with Data to bridge stakeholders, domain specialists, and engineering teams across complex data-driven workflows. You will translate Oil & Gas processes and data entities into clear requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria while partnering with product and engineering. Help ensure solutions align with industry practices and stakeholder expectations.
Responsibilities

Act as the Oil & Gas domain expert for product and engineering teams

Partner with business stakeholders, domain experts, and global users to elicit, analyze, and refine business requirements

Coach engineering teams on domain concepts, business processes, data models, and core industry entities

Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria
-
Collaborate with product and engineering groups to shape product features and drive business value realization
-
Validate solution designs against business objectives and operational workflows
-
Execute and test end-to-end business workflows across the product lifecycle
-
Identify gaps, edge cases, and process improvement opportunities during solution development
-
Deliver demos, walkthroughs, and presentations for stakeholders and business users

Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and solution adoption activities
Requirements
-
Extensive experience in Business Analysis, typically 5+ years, within product or solution delivery settings
-
Strong understanding of Oil & Gas business processes, operational workflows, and key domain concepts
-
Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, domain experts, product managers, and software engineers

Demonstrated expertise in requirements elicitation, business analysis, and product development environments
-
Excellent analytical thinking, communication, and stakeholder management skills
-
Ability to translate complex business concepts into clear functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria

Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps for managing requirements and delivery workflows
-
Familiarity with domain data models gained through prior project work
-
English proficiency at Upper-Intermediate (B2) or higher
Nice to have

Experience across upstream, midstream, or downstream Oil & Gas operations

Exposure to industry data models, business entities, and digital transformation initiatives

Knowledge of Agile/Scrum product development environments

Hands-on practice with workflow validation, testing, and UAT processes

Familiarity with industry-leading products such as ProSource, OSDU, Petrel, Databricks, etc.
