Job Summary
The GST & Taxation Senior Executive is responsible for independently managing GST compliance, supervising return filings, handling reconciliations, and supporting audits and assessments. The role ensures accurate tax reporting, adherence to statutory requirements, and provides guidance to junior team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently prepare, review, and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9/9C, etc.)
- Oversee GST input tax credit (ITC) reconciliation with GSTR-2B and follow up on variances
- Ensure compliance with GST laws, rules, and timelines
- Handle GST audits, departmental notices, assessments, and replies
- Monitor and implement changes in GST and taxation regulations
- Review e-invoicing and e-way bill compliance
- Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, and tax authorities
- Guide and review work of junior executives and trainees
- Assist in direct tax matters such as TDS compliance and income tax return support
- Maintain accurate tax documentation and statutory records
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CA Inter / CMA Inter / MBA (Finance) preferred
- 3–6 years of relevant experience in GST and taxation
Skills & Competencies
- In-depth knowledge of GST laws, procedures, and compliance
- Strong analytical and reconciliation skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (Tally, ERP systems)
- Ability to handle audits and assessments independently
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Good communication and leadership abilities

- Experience in handling multiple entities or group companies
- Exposure to GST audits and litigation support
- Knowledge of e-invoicing, e-way bills, and GST portal functionalities
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
