**Requirements**
- At-least Graduation in any stream.
- At-least 4 to 5 years of experience in Travel Sector and preference shall be given to candidates having strong experience in travel domain.
- Well versed in using all the three GDS systems and excellent knowledge of computer reservation programs.
- Preference shall be given to GDS/IATA ticketing license holder.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
**Responsibilities**
- Responsible for overseeing all reservation processes, ensuring smooth and efficient booking, date change, refund of tickets for downstream agents, direct customers. This includes monitoring booking systems, handling complex reservations, and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Shall lead a team of at-least 3–5 reservation executives, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure they meet performance goals and provide excellent customer service. This involves scheduling shifts, monitoring productivity, and fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Maintain and develop relationships with airlines, B2B clients, direct customers, handling their queries, addressing their concerns, and ensuring their satisfaction. Shall work closely with the sales team to identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
- Responsibility to generate regular reports on reservation metrics, such as booking trends, client satisfaction levels, and revenue generated. This data will help to analyze performance, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions to optimize operations.
- Shall continuously evaluate and enhance reservation processes to maximize efficiency and minimize errors. This may involve implementing new technologies, streamlining workflows, and suggesting improvements to existing systems.
- Shall stay informed about industry trends, airline policies, travel regulations, and market competition.
- Will oversee the invoicing and payment collection process of clients, ensuring that payments are received on time. This involves monitoring outstanding invoices, following up with clients for payment, and resolving any payment-related issues or discrepancies.
- Shall work closely with the finance department to provide necessary financial data and reports related to reservations and payments. This includes tracking revenue, analyzing financial performance, and providing insights to aid in decision-making.
- Shall be responsible for reconciling payments with respect to reservations and invoices of clients falling within his/her ambit.
- Shall collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure smooth communication and understanding of payment terms, invoicing procedures, and any changes to payment policies. Building strong relationships with clients will facilitate timely payments and maintain positive business partnerships. By diligently managing payment collections, invoicing, and financial reporting, the Assistant Reservation Manager will contribute to the overall financial health and stability of the firm.
