The Junior HR Executive – Payroll supports payroll processing, attendance management, employee records, and statutory compliance activities. The role involves maintaining accurate payroll data, assisting in HR operations, and ensuring timely completion of payroll-related tasks while maintaining confidentiality.
Key ResponsibilitiesPayroll Support
- Assist in preparing monthly payroll by verifying attendance, leave, overtime, and duty roster details.
- Update salary revisions, deductions, incentives, and Leave Without Pay (LOP) details in the payroll system.
- Generate salary slips and payroll reports as instructed.
- Respond to employee payroll-related queries.
Attendance & Leave Management
- Monitor biometric attendance and identify attendance discrepancies.
- Maintain employee leave records and update leave balances.
- Coordinate with department heads for attendance and roster corrections.
HRMS & Documentation
- Update employee master data in the HRMS.
- Maintain employee personal files and payroll records.
- Ensure payroll documents are complete and properly filed.
Statutory Compliance Support
- Assist in maintaining PF, ESI, PT, TDS, and other statutory records.
- Prepare payroll-related reports required for statutory compliance and audits.
- Support the HR team during inspections and audits.
HR Operations
- Assist with employee onboarding, confirmations, transfers, resignations, and full & final settlements.
- Prepare HR reports and payroll MIS.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee information.
Other Responsibilities
- Support employee engagement and HR administrative activities.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the HR Executive, HR Manager, or Management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
- MBA/MSW in Human Resource Management is preferred.
- 0–2 years of experience in payroll or HR operations (hospital experience preferred).
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of payroll processing and attendance management.
- Understanding of PF, ESI, PT, and labour law compliance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
- Familiarity with HRMS and biometric attendance systems is an added advantage.
- Good analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and accuracy.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
