Job Summary
We are looking for a Purchase Engineer to manage procurement activities for EV, electrical, solar, and engineering-related products and components. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing materials, coordinating with vendors, negotiating prices, and ensuring timely availability of materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and source components, materials, tools, and equipment as per project requirements.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for quotations, availability, and delivery timelines.
- Compare quotations and negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery conditions.
- Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs).
- Follow up with vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Maintain purchase records, vendor details, quotations, and purchase documentation.
- Coordinate with engineering, production, stores, and project teams for material requirements.
- Evaluate and develop reliable vendors.
- Monitor material quality and resolve procurement-related issues.
- Ensure procurement is completed within approved budgets and timelines.
- Support inventory planning and avoid delays due to material shortages.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or related engineering discipline.
- 1–3 years of experience in purchase/procurement, preferably in EV, automotive, electrical, electronics, manufacturing, or engineering industries.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and basic procurement documentation.
- Strong vendor coordination and negotiation skills.
- Good communication and follow-up skills.
- Knowledge of EV components, electrical components, solar products, or engineering materials will be an added advantage.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹23,000.00 per month
