We are looking for a Product Manager (Costing & Engineering) to lead the technical and commercial development of our products from concept to completion. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in product design, manufacturing processes, and cost analysis, with the ability to coordinate between design, production, and sales teams to ensure technically sound and cost-effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage product costing, pricing, and profitability analysis.
- Review and optimize product designs to achieve cost efficiency and manufacturability.
- Coordinate with design, production, and procurement teams to ensure feasibility and accuracy in BOMs.
- Prepare cost estimates and quotations for new and existing products.
- Identify opportunities for value engineering and continuous improvement.
- Evaluate material and process options to ensure the best cost-performance balance.
- Support new product development (NPD) and product modifications as per market or customer needs.
- Monitor and report product performance, cost trends, and engineering changes.
- Work closely with suppliers and vendors for technical clarifications and cost negotiations.
