A True Value Sales Assistant is the face of the pre-owned car showroom. The primary objective is to manage the end-to-end customer journey—from welcoming walk-in queries and understanding their budget/needs, to conducting test drives and facilitating the final sale, finance integration, and vehicle delivery.
Core Responsibilities1. Customer Relationship & Showroom Management
- Greeting & Engagement: Warmly welcome walk-in customers, phone inquiries, and digital leads generated through the True Value app/website.
- Need Analysis: Actively listen to customers to understand their specific requirements (e.g., family size, fuel preference like Petrol/CNG, budget constraint, or specific body style like hatchback vs. SUV).
- Vehicle Pitching: Guide customers through the yard, showcasing certified inventory and highlighting the unique selling points of True Value cars (such as the 376-point digital checklist, digital evaluation, and refurbishing standards).
2. Test Drives & Sales Conversion
- Demonstration: Accompany customers on structured test drives, ensuring all safety protocols are followed while demonstrating the vehicle’s performance, air conditioning efficiency, and cabin comfort.
- Objection Handling: Address customer doubts regarding a pre-owned vehicle’s history, mileage, and past ownership transparently to build trust.
- Closing Deals: Negotiate within authorized price margins and provide a formal, written quotation format to finalize bookings.
3. Value-Added Services & Documentation
- Finance & Insurance: Coordinate with internal finance teams or partner banks to offer customized loan options and competitive insurance packages to the buyer.
- Exchange Program: Assist customers looking to trade in their old vehicle by coordinating with the True Value Evaluator to get a quick, accurate trade-in price.
