Role Overview
We are adding a forward-thinking Business Analyst - not Data Analysts - with strong expertise in requirement analysis, stakeholder collaboration, and functional documentation. In the evolving AI landscape, the BA will play a critical role in translating business objectives into structured, data-driven, and automation-ready requirements to enable scalable and intelligent technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Elicit, analyze, and document business and functional requirements
- Prepare and maintain BRD, FRD, User Stories, Use Cases, and Acceptance Criteria
- Conduct requirement workshops and stakeholder discussions
- Translate business needs into clear functional specifications for development teams
- Ensure requirement traceability and manage change requests
- Support development, QA, and UAT phases to ensure requirement alignment
- Design process flows and business workflows, Functional workflows
- Identify opportunities to drive AI integration, automate processes, and enable data-driven decisions.
Must-Have Skills
- Strong experience in requirement gathering and business analysis
- Expertise in User Stories (INVEST principle), Use Cases, and Acceptance Criteria (BDD style preferred)
- Hands-on experience with BRD / FRD documentation
- Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies
- Experience with JIRA, Confluence, or similar tools
- Experience in stakeholder management, impact analysis and cross functional coordination
- Ability to create process flow diagram, BPMN Models and Functional Architecture diagrams
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills
Good-to-Have
- Exposure to UML modeling and BPMN tools
- Basic understanding of APIs and SQL
- Exposure to Agile practices and sprint ceremonies
- Domain knowledge in Digital Commerce / ERP / CRM / Enterprise systems/ Retail
- Exposure to APIs (REST, JSON), microservices architecture, and core system integration concepts.
- SQL knowledge for data validation and analysis
- Familiarity with Data modeling concepts, KPIs and metrics definition
