We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Chartered Accountant to strengthen our Finance & Accounts function and support strategic business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Accounting
- Prepare and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with applicable Accounting Standards and statutory requirements.
- Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing of books.
- Monitor General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Fixed Assets.
- Oversee bank reconciliations and cash flow management.
Taxation & Statutory Compliance
- Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory returns.
- Handle GST reconciliations, assessments, notices, and departmental queries.
- Coordinate with statutory authorities for tax-related matters.
- Ensure compliance with the Companies Act, Income Tax Act, GST regulations, and other applicable statutory requirements.
Audit & Compliance
- Coordinate Statutory Audit, Internal Audit, Tax Audit, and other regulatory audits.
- Prepare audit schedules, supporting documents, and management responses.
- Implement and strengthen internal financial controls and compliance frameworks.
- Ensure adherence to accounting policies and financial governance.
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Prepare budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analysis.
- Analyze business performance and profitability across business units.
- Prepare MIS reports and present financial insights to senior management.
- Support strategic financial planning and business decision-making.
Treasury & Working Capital Management
- Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and working capital requirements.
- Manage banking relationships and financial documentation.
- Optimize fund utilization and oversee payment cycles.
Team Management
- Coordinate with the Finance & Accounts team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Review accounting entries and maintain financial data accuracy.
- Contribute to process improvements and finance automation initiatives.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Accounting Standards, GST, Income Tax, TDS, ROC compliance, and the Companies Act.
- Understanding of Financial Reporting, Budgeting, MIS, and Financial Analysis.
- Hands-on knowledge of ERP/Tally Prime and Microsoft Excel (Advanced Excel preferred).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of integrity, ownership, and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAI).
- Freshly Qualified CAs are encouraged to apply.
- Candidates with 1+ years of relevant experience in Corporate Finance & Accounts will have an added advantage.
- Experience in the Hospitality, Travel, Aviation, Technology, or Service Industry is preferred.
- Exposure to handling statutory compliances, audits, taxation, and multiple business entities will be an added advantage.
