Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Mechanical Draftsman to prepare accurate technical drawings, layouts, and fabrication details for mechanical components, equipment, and systems. The candidate will work closely with engineers, project teams, and production departments to develop design drawings in compliance with company standards and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed 2D and 3D mechanical drawings using CAD software.
- Create fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, GA drawings, and BOMs.
- Interpret engineering sketches, specifications, and calculations.
- Revise and update drawings based on engineering feedback and project changes.
- Maintain drawing records, revisions, and documentation control.
- Coordinate with production, fabrication, and site teams for drawing clarifications.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable standards, codes, and safety requirements.
- Assist in preparing material take-offs and technical documentation.
- Support engineers during project execution and design development.
- Conduct drawing checks to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D/3D, Revit & Cadworks , or other drafting software.
- Strong understanding of mechanical drafting standards and symbols.
- Knowledge of manufacturing and fabrication processes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Time management and ability to meet project deadlines.
- Familiarity with GD&T and engineering tolerances is preferred.
Qualifications
- Diploma / ITI in Mechanical Engineering, Draftsmanship, or related field.
- Certification in AutoCAD or relevant CAD software preferred.
- 2–5 years of experience in mechanical drafting or design support.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in fabrication, piping, machine design, or industrial projects.
- Exposure to 3D modeling and sheet metal detailing.
- Knowledge of ISO, ASME, or industry drafting standards.
Working Conditions
- Office-based with coordination with production/site teams.
- will require occasional site visits for measurements and project support.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
