- Install, inspect, test, and commission new medical equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance as per the maintenance schedule.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate biomedical equipment to ensure accurate performance.
- Maintain records of equipment maintenance, calibration, breakdowns, and repairs.
- Coordinate with equipment vendors for Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) and Comprehensive Maintenance Contracts (CMC).
- Ensure all medical equipment complies with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular rounds to check the functioning of medical devices across departments.
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and minimize downtime.
- Train doctors, nurses, and other hospital staff on the safe and proper use of medical equipment.
- Maintain an inventory of biomedical equipment, spare parts, and consumables.
- Monitor equipment performance and recommend replacements or upgrades when necessary.
- Coordinate with procurement teams for technical evaluation and purchase of new equipment.
- Assist in installation planning, equipment relocation, and decommissioning of obsolete devices.
- Ensure proper documentation of user manuals, warranty details, and service reports.
- Support accreditation requirements such as NABH by maintaining biomedical documentation and compliance.
- Ensure adherence to infection control practices while handling and maintaining medical equipment.
- Coordinate with clinical departments to understand equipment requirements and operational issues.
- Prepare monthly reports on equipment uptime, maintenance activities, and pending repairs.
- Verify the quality and performance of equipment after repairs or servicing.
- Follow hospital safety policies and electrical safety protocols while working on medical devices.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
