Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Distribution Sales Manager role based in New Delhi. The Distribution Sales Manager will oversee and expand the distribution network, managing relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and retail partners to achieve sales and coverage targets. Responsibilities include developing and executing territory and channel plans, monitoring secondary sales, tracking inventory and stock levels, and ensuring product availability and visibility across assigned markets. The role involves regular market visits, performance reviews with channel partners, and coordination with internal teams such as marketing, supply chain, and finance to support promotions, demand planning, and timely collections. The Distribution Sales Manager will also analyze sales data, prepare reports, forecast demand, and identify new business opportunities to drive growth and profitability.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Sales and Channel Sales to drive volume, coverage, and revenue growth.
- Experience in managing Channel Partners and Account Management to build and sustain strong distributor and key account relationships.
- Ability in Business Planning, including territory planning, forecasting, and target setting.
- Demonstrated skills in sales data analysis, reporting, and use of CRM or ERP tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or equivalent is an advantage.
- Proven experience in FMCG or food distribution sales, preferably in regional or territorial management roles.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority.
Pay: ₹32,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
