About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accounts Assistant to support our finance and accounting operations. The ideal candidate should have basic accounting knowledge, proficiency in accounting software, and the ability to maintain accurate financial records.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain day-to-day accounting records and financial transactions.
- Prepare and manage invoices, bills, vouchers, and payment records.
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain cash records.
- Assist in GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance documentation.
- Maintain purchase and sales records.
- Prepare reports using MS Excel and accounting software.
- Coordinate with vendors, customers, and internal departments regarding payments and accounts.
- Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
- Organize and maintain accounting files and documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in accounting or finance (Freshers with strong accounting knowledge may also apply).
- Knowledge of Tally ERP/Tally Prime and MS Excel.
- Basic understanding of GST, TDS, and bookkeeping principles.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Good communication and organizational abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in handling business accounts and inventory records.
- Knowledge of accounting software and ERP systems.
- Ability to prepare financial reports and MIS statements.
- Experience working with distributors, suppliers, or project-based businesses is an advantage.
Salary
Negotiable based on experience and skills.
