We are is seeking a highly motivated and qualified Assistant Professor to join our Microbiology department. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality medical education, mentoring MBBS and postgraduate students, and contributing to the department's research and clinical diagnostic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Academic Teaching: Deliver comprehensive lectures and lead practical demonstrations for undergraduate and postgraduate medical students.
- Clinical & Lab Support: Supervise microbiological diagnostic procedures and maintain quality standards in the departmental laboratory.
- Research & Development: Actively participate in departmental research projects, publish in peer-reviewed journals, and attend academic conferences.
- Institutional Compliance: Ensure all teaching and laboratory practices align with National Medical Commission (NMC) guidelines.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: MBBS with an MD in Microbiology (or DNB equivalent) from a recognised medical institution.
- Experience: Previous teaching experience in a medical college is preferred. Fresh post-graduates meeting NMC criteria are encouraged to apply.
- Registration: Must hold a valid registration with the State Medical Council or National Medical Commission (NMC).
- Skills: Strong communication skills, dedication to student mentorship, and proficiency in modern microbiological diagnostic techniques.
Pay: Up to ₹135,000.00 per month
