The Adbook India Private Limited is one of India's foremost out-of-home (OOH) advertising technology companies. We specialise in end-to-end LED display solutions — from creative concept to hardware procurement, engineering, deployment, and live content management — serving premium clients across retail, hospitality, infrastructure, broadcast, and government sectors.
We are looking for a hands-on LED Display Engineer to join our growing technical team in Ahmedabad. You will own the full technical lifecycle of LED display projects — from pre-sales engineering and site surveys through commissioning, integration, and post-installation support.
Key responsibilities
Design & engineering
- Design LED display systems — pixel pitch selection, cabinet layout, power distribution, and signal routing
- Prepare engineering drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications for client proposals
- Recommend optimal LED module configurations (SMD, COB, GOB) based on viewing distance, ambient light, and resolution
- Design electrical schematics — power cabling, earthing, surge protection, and UPS systems
Installation & commissioning
- Lead on-site installation of indoor and outdoor LED displays — cabinet assembly, rigging, and alignment
- Configure LED sending/receiving cards (Novastar, Linsn, Colorlight) and video controllers
- Commission display calibration — brightness uniformity, colour temperature matching, and gamma correction
- Integrate LED systems with media players, CMS platforms, and AV control systems
- Conduct FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) and SAT (Site Acceptance Testing)
Technical support & maintenance
- Diagnose hardware failures — LED module replacement, driver IC issues, power supply faults, PCB repairs
- Provide Tier-2 and Tier-3 support for installed base across India
- Train client technical teams on operations, CMS usage, and first-level troubleshooting
- Develop preventive maintenance schedules and service documentation
Qualifications
Required
- B.E. / B.Tech — Electronics, Electrical, ECE, or Instrumentation Engineering
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on LED display installation, commissioning, and technical support experience
- Demonstrated experience with at least one controller platform (Novastar, Linsn, or Colorlight)
- Ability to read and produce electrical/structural technical drawings
- Willingness to travel pan-India for project installations (up to 40%)
Preferred
- Experience with transparent LED, curved/flexible LED, or fine-pitch indoor LED (P1.2–P1.8)
- Exposure to broadcast LED — virtual production volumes or broadcast backdrops
- OEM certification from Novastar, Absen, Unilumin, Leyard, or Daktronics
- Familiarity with fibre-optic signal distribution for long-haul LED installations
- Knowledge of IEC 62087 display performance measurement standards
