We are seeking a high-energy, detail-oriented Project Engineer to lead the on-site execution of our gas and utility pipeline projects. You will be the bridge between technical design and physical implementation, ensuring that pipeline installation—from trenching to commissioning—is completed safely, on time, and according to stringent industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Site Supervision: Oversee day-to-day on-site activities including RoW (Right of Way) clearing, trenching, welding, lowering, backfilling, and restoration.
- Technical Compliance: Ensure all pipeline installation adheres to project specifications, IFC (Issued for Construction) drawings, and codes (e.g., ASME B31.8 for gas or B31.4).
- Safety & Quality (HSE): Enforce strict "Zero Harm" safety protocols. Conduct pressure testing (Hydro/Pneumatic) and ensure weld quality through NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) coordination.
- Contractor Management: Manage sub-contractors and labor crews, ensuring productivity targets are met without compromising quality.
- Material Management: Track on-site inventory, including pipes, valves, and fittings, to prevent delays.
- Reporting: Prepare Daily Progress Reports (DPR), maintain site logs, and document any deviations from the original plan for "As-Built" drawings.
