About the Role
We are looking for a result-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) with strong expertise in B2B IT software sales, lead generation using modern prospecting tools, and end-to-end sales cycle management. The candidate should have hands-on experience in tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo.io, and ZoomInfo for generating high-quality leads.
The ideal candidate should have prior experience selling CRM solutions, Hospital Management Systems (HMS), and School Management Software (SMS) and must be capable of handling complete sales lifecycle—from lead generation to closure.
Key Responsibilities1. Lead Generation & Prospecting
- Generate qualified leads using:
- LinkedIn Sales Navigator
- Apollo.io
- ZoomInfo
- Identify decision-makers (CXOs, Directors, Administrators, IT Heads).
- Build targeted prospect databases (Hospitals, Schools, Educational Institutions, Corporate Clients).
- Execute outbound campaigns (cold emails, LinkedIn outreach, calls).
- Maintain structured lead tracking in CRM.
2. IT Sales & Business Development
- Sell company products:
- Hospital Management Software
- School Management Software
- CRM Solutions
- Upcoming Lead Management Software
- Conduct product demos and presentations.
- Understand client requirements and propose suitable solutions.
- Coordinate with technical/pre-sales team for custom demos.
- Drive revenue targets on monthly & quarterly basis.
3. Pre-Sales & Documentation
- Requirement gathering and solution mapping.
- Prepare:
- Proposals
- Quotations
- Scope of Work (SOW)
- RFP/RFQ responses
- Coordinate with internal teams for costing and pricing approvals.
- Maintain accurate sales documentation.
4. Follow-ups & Closing
- Manage complete sales funnel.
- Regular follow-ups with prospects.
- Handle objections and negotiation.
- Close deals and ensure contract sign-off.
- Support onboarding and smooth project handover.
5. CRM & Sales Reporting
- Maintain accurate data in CRM.
- Track pipeline, forecast, and conversion metrics.
- Prepare weekly/monthly MIS reports.
- Maintain client relationship for upselling & cross-selling.
Required Skills
- 3–5 years of experience in B2B IT Software Sales.
- Proven experience in selling:
- CRM Solutions
- ERP / HMS / SMS software
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- LinkedIn Sales Navigator
- Apollo.io
- ZoomInfo
- Experience in SaaS-based product selling.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Excellent communication & presentation skills.
- Knowledge of IT solution selling cycle.
- Experience in Hyderabad market is preferred.
