We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer specializing in HVAC systems to design, analyze, and optimize heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for commercial, industrial, or residential projects. The candidate will work closely with architects, electrical engineers, project managers, and clients to deliver energy-efficient and code-compliant HVAC solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design HVAC systems including:
- Air conditioning
- Ventilation
- Heating
- Chilled water systems
- Ducting and piping layouts
- Prepare:
- Load calculations
- Equipment selection
- BOQs (Bill of Quantities)
- Technical specifications
- HVAC drawings and schematics
- Use software such as:
- AutoCAD
- Revit MEP
- HAP
- HVAC design tools
- Perform heat load calculations and airflow analysis.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams during project execution.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, ASHRAE standards, and safety regulations.
- Review shop drawings and vendor submissions.
- Support project installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Optimize HVAC systems for energy efficiency and sustainability.
- Conduct site visits and inspections when required.
