Industrial Electrician – Cashew Processing Unit

Key Responsibilities:
1. Electrical Maintenance & Repair
o Perform routine and preventive maintenance of electrical systems.
o Diagnose and repair faults in machines such as boilers, cookers, shelling machines, dryers, grading machines, and sorters.
o Maintain lighting, wiring, motor panels, and control systems.
2. Machine Installation
o Support installation and electrical setup of new processing machinery and conveyor systems.
o Ensure proper grounding and power ratings as per machine requirement.
3. Troubleshooting
o Quickly respond to machine breakdowns or electrical faults to minimize downtime.
o Use testing devices (multimeter, clamp meter, etc.) to identify faults.
4. Safety & Compliance
o Ensure all electrical work is done in compliance with safety standards (e.g., IS, IEC).
o Keep all equipment earthed and insulated properly.
o Regularly inspect wiring, control panels, and breaker systems.
5. Documentation & Reporting
o Maintain logbooks for maintenance activities.
o Record daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance schedules and fault history.
6. Coordination
o Work closely with production, mechanical maintenance, and quality teams.
o Assist in energy audits and electrical system upgrades.
Qualifications & Skills:
- ITI / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a food or cashew processing industry preferred.
- Knowledge of motors, starters, VFDs, and PLC basics is desirable.
- Ability to read electrical diagrams and control schematics.
- Understanding of safety standards and PPE usage.
- Team player with quick decision-making ability.
Work Schedule:
Full-time – Rotational Shifts (as per plant operations)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,500.00 per month
