As a Test Automation Engineer, a typical day involves applying quality processes and leveraging automation tools and methodologies to enhance testing products and solutions. The role centers on managing the end-to-end quality engineering function with a strong emphasis on automation, aiming to improve control, accuracy, and integrity throughout the testing lifecycle. This position requires continuous collaboration with various teams to ensure that testing activities align with project goals and deliverables, while also adapting to evolving project requirements and challenges in a dynamic environment.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify opportunities for automation improvements and implement best practices.
- Mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and support their professional growth.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure alignment of testing strategies with overall project objectives.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Selenium, Automated Testing.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with COBOL.
- Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks and scripting languages.
- Experience in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts.
- Ability to analyze test results and troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle and quality assurance processes.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Selenium.
