Job Description
We're looking for a creative Video Editor who has a strong sense of visual storytelling and design. We want someone who knows what looks good, not just someone who can use editing software.
You'll work on brand films, product videos, social media reels, advertisements, and other creative content for our growing D2C brand. You'll have the freedom to contribute ideas and improve the final output instead of simply following instructions.
Responsibilities
- Edit short-form and long-form videos from start to finish.
- Create engaging reels, brand films, product videos, and ad creatives.
- Use AI video generation tools like Runway, Pika, Kling, or similar platforms to create and enhance content.
- Design motion graphics, including animated text, transitions, lower thirds, and logo animations.
- Create basic 3D product animations and visuals using Blender.
- Perform colour correction, colour grading, and basic sound design.
- Review briefs and suggest creative improvements whenever needed.
- Work closely with the founder and creative team to deliver high-quality content with quick turnaround times.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of professional experience in video editing.
- Strong visual sense for composition, pacing, typography, and colour.
- Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects (or equivalent software).
- Hands-on experience with at least one AI video generation tool.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Blender for 3D animation.
- A strong portfolio or showreel demonstrating creative thinking and high-quality work.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with D2C brands or performance marketing campaigns.
- Basic sound design and audio editing skills.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
- Comfortable working directly with founders and handling fast-paced creative work.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD is an added advantage but not mandatory.
