Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable (AR) Executive to manage customer receivables, collections, credit control, invoicing, and account reconciliation. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in manufacturing accounts receivable processes and be proficient in ERP systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage customer accounts receivable and ensure timely collections.
- Evaluate customer creditworthiness and support credit management activities.
- Generate and verify customer invoices based on purchase orders, delivery notes, and pricing agreements.
- Process and reconcile customer payments, including bank transfers, cheques, and other payment methods.
- Perform customer account reconciliations and maintain accurate ledger balances.
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, short shipments, freight claims, and returned goods.
- Follow up on overdue payments and coordinate with customers for timely collections.
- Prepare AR aging reports, collection status reports, and cash flow forecasts.
- Support month-end closing and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Coordinate with Sales, Logistics, and Finance teams to resolve customer account issues.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Accounts Receivable processes.
- Experience in Credit Management, Billing, Collections, and Reconciliation.
- Proficiency in Tally, ERP/SAP, MS Excel, and MS Word.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Qualifications
- B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter
- 4+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable.
- Experience in the Manufacturing industry is preferred.
