Responsibilities and Duties
- Preparation of instruments & gauges calibration plan.
- Doing Calibration activities.
- Handling of CMM, contour, brine ll & Rockwell Hardness tester, Profile Projector.
- Develops, qualifies and maintains CMM programs.
- Reads blueprints to determine specifications and tolerances for a variety of machined components (gears, shafts, etc.).
- Ensures that containment activities take place when discrepancies are identified.
- Review and refine data collection requirements according to customer drawings, models, work orders, purchase orders, sketches and PPAP requirements.
- Participates in the corrective action and preventative action processes.
- Participates in Gage R & R Studies.
- Utilizes a wide variety of inspection tools to complete dimensional reports.
- Familiarity with Optical/Vision/Multi-sensor systems is a plus
- Strong mathematical skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Visio
- Effective communication skills, and the ability to work with others in a team environment
- Must be self-motivated, self-directed, and enthusiastic
- Available for travel as needed
