Job Description – Safety Officer
We are looking for a Safety Officer to ensure a safe and healthy work environment in our garment manufacturing unit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with all safety and statutory requirements.
- Conduct regular factory safety inspections and identify hazards.
- Implement corrective and preventive safety measures.
- Conduct safety induction and awareness training for employees.
- Monitor the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Investigate accidents and maintain safety records.
- Conduct fire drills and ensure fire safety equipment is maintained.
- Coordinate statutory inspections and customer compliance audits.
- Maintain safety documents, registers, and compliance records.
- Support HR during employee induction and safety-related activities.
- Promote good housekeeping (5S) and safe work practices across the factory.
Qualifications:
- Diploma/Degree in Industrial Safety or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in a garment manufacturing industry preferred.
- Good knowledge of statutory safety compliance and fire safety.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
