Title: Chartered Accountant – Direct Tax

Qualification: CA (Chartered Accountant) with B.Com/M.Com
Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Chartered Accountant with 12–15 years of expertise in Direct Taxation. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge of Indian direct tax laws, corporate tax compliance, tax planning, litigation, and international taxation. The role involves ensuring end-to-end tax compliance, advising on tax-efficient business strategies, and representing the organization before tax authorities.
Key ResponsibilitiesCorporate Direct Tax
- Manage corporate income tax computation and return filing.
- Prepare advance tax calculations and ensure timely tax payments.
- Oversee TDS/TCS compliance and statutory reporting.
- Handle tax provisioning in accordance with Ind AS/IFRS.
- Manage deferred tax accounting and reconciliations.
- Coordinate tax audits, assessments, and statutory compliance.
Individual Taxation
- Manage taxation related to salaries and employee benefits.
- Handle expatriate taxation and cross-border tax matters.
- Compute capital gains and provide tax planning support.
- Advise High-Net-Worth Individuals (HNIs) on tax planning.
- Review and file income tax returns for individuals and senior executives.
Tax Planning & Advisory
- Develop tax-efficient structures for business transactions.
- Support mergers, acquisitions, and business restructuring from a tax perspective.
- Advise on dividend distribution, capital restructuring, and related tax implications.
- Provide guidance on MAT, AMT, and other direct tax matters.
- Identify opportunities for tax optimization while ensuring compliance.
Litigation & Representation
- Respond to income tax notices, assessments, and reassessments.
- Prepare submissions and represent the organization before tax authorities.
- Coordinate appeals before CIT(A), ITAT, High Courts, and the Supreme Court.
- Support tax search and survey proceedings.
Transfer Pricing
- Ensure transfer pricing documentation and compliance.
- Review benchmarking studies and transfer pricing reports.
- Support Advance Pricing Agreements (APA) and related matters.
International Taxation
- Advise on Double Taxation Avoidance Agreements (DTAA).
- Handle withholding tax compliance.
- Evaluate Permanent Establishment (PE) risks and tax implications.
- Ensure compliance with BEPS initiatives and OECD guidelines.

- Advanced Microsoft Excel
- Income Tax Portal and related tax compliance tools
- ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle
- Tax compliance and reporting software
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Chartered Accountant with 12–15 years of relevant experience in Direct Tax.
- Experience in large corporates, consulting firms, or multinational organizations is preferred.
- Proven ability to manage complex tax matters, regulatory changes, and cross-functional stakeholder interactions.
Pay: ₹250,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per month
