Key Responsibilities
- Conduct physical exams, obtain patient histories, and diagnose conditions
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests
- Develop and implement treatment plans
- Perform procedures within scope of practice
- Prescribe medications as permitted by state law
- Educate patients and families on preventive care and treatment plans
- Document care using electronic medical records (EMR)
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
