We are looking for a PHP Developer to join our team in Shimla. You will build and maintain web applications and APIs, working closely with designers and front-end developers to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop web applications and RESTful APIs using PHP frameworks (Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter)
- Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code following OOP and MVC principles
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Integrate front-end elements with server-side logic
- Design and manage MySQL database schemas and queries
- Conduct unit testing and participate in code reviews
- Troubleshoot and debug existing applications
- Stay current with PHP best practices and industry trends
Requirements
- 2–4 years of professional experience in PHP development
- Strong proficiency in at least one PHP framework: Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter
- Solid understanding of object-oriented PHP and MVC architecture
- Experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery
- Working knowledge of relational databases and SQL
- Familiarity with Git and version control workflows
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team
- Strong communication skills
Good to Have
- Experience with Vue.js, React, or Angular
- Familiarity with RESTful API design and development
- Knowledge of Docker, CI/CD, or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
