We provide complete thermal engineering solutions for industries including food processing, rice mills, textiles, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, paper, plywood, rubber, dairy, and engineering sectors.
We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Boiler Service Engineer to provide installation, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and after-sales support for our equipment across South India.
Position Summary
The Boiler Service Engineer will be responsible for installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, breakdown support, performance optimization, and customer technical assistance for boilers and allied thermal systems. The role requires extensive travel across South India and close coordination with customers, project teams, and the factory.
Key ResponsibilitiesInstallation & Commissioning
- Supervise erection and installation of steam boilers, thermic fluid heaters, hot water generators, and accessories.
- Verify installation quality against approved drawings and technical specifications.
- Coordinate with customer representatives, contractors, consultants, and project engineers.
- Conduct pre-commissioning inspections.
- Perform cold and hot commissioning of equipment.
- Carry out performance and functional testing before handover.
Field Service & Troubleshooting
- Attend emergency breakdown calls within the assigned territory.
- Diagnose mechanical, combustion, hydraulic, electrical, and instrumentation issues.
- Rectify equipment faults to minimize downtime.

- Execute scheduled preventive maintenance visits.
- Prepare maintenance checklists and service reports.
- Recommend replacement of worn-out components.
- Monitor equipment health and operational efficiency.
- Ensure optimum combustion and fuel efficiency.
Performance Optimization
- Conduct combustion tuning.
- Optimize steam generation and thermal efficiency.
- Reduce fuel consumption.
- Improve boiler operating performance.
- Monitor emissions and recommend corrective actions.
Customer Support
- Provide technical guidance to operators and maintenance personnel.
- Train customers on safe boiler operation and routine maintenance.
- Explain operating procedures and safety practices.
- Build strong customer relationships through timely service.
Spare Parts & Service Sales
- Identify opportunities for spare parts replacement.
- Recommend Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC).
- Promote service upgrades and retrofits.
- Prepare spare parts recommendations and quotations.
Documentation & Reporting
Prepare and submit:

Maintain accurate service records using company systems.

- Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Promote safe work practices at all customer sites.
Education
Essential
- B.E./B.Tech – Mechanical Engineering
Preferred
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with relevant field service experience.
Experience
- 3–8 years in installation, commissioning, or servicing of industrial boilers or thermal equipment.
- Experience with steam boilers, thermic fluid heaters, hot water generators, or combustion systems is preferred.
- Knowledge of biomass, coal, oil, and gas-fired systems is an advantage.

Travel Requirements
- Extensive travel across Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Puducherry.
- Travel requirement of approximately 70–80%.

- Valid driving licence is mandatory.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- Mechanical Engineer with strong field service experience in industrial boilers or thermal systems.
- Hands-on experience in erection, commissioning, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
- Ability to read P&IDs, GA drawings, and electrical schematics.
- Customer-focused with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in English and at least one South Indian language (Tamil, Kannada, Telugu, or Malayalam). Knowledge of Hindi is an added advantage.
- Willingness to travel extensively and work independently across South India.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
