Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Automation Test Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Selenium WebDriver and/or Playwright and experience working with the RxClaim Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) domain.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and executing automated test solutions for mission-critical healthcare, pharmacy benefits, and claims processing applications.
The candidate should have strong experience in UI automation, API testing, SQL/database validation, functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing. Experience with RxClaim, PBM workflows, pharmacy claims adjudication, formulary management, benefits, eligibility, and healthcare integrations is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reusable test automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver and/or Playwright.
- Develop and execute automated functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end test cases.
- Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into comprehensive test scenarios and automation scripts.
- Validate RxClaim and PBM application workflows, including pharmacy claims processing and adjudication.
- Test pharmacy benefit configurations, benefit plans, formulary management, prior authorization, and member eligibility workflows.
- Develop automated test scripts using Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, or similar programming languages.
- Maintain automation frameworks using tools such as TestNG, JUnit, Cypress, or Playwright Test.
- Perform API testing using Postman, Rest Assured, or equivalent tools.
- Validate backend data and test results using SQL queries and database validation techniques.
- Perform data reconciliation and verify claims, member, provider, eligibility, and benefit-related data.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and contribute to continuous testing initiatives.
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects through resolution.
- Perform root-cause analysis and collaborate with developers to resolve automation and application issues.
- Participate in test planning, estimation, risk assessment, sprint activities, and release validation.
- Support quality engineering initiatives throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Collaborate with Developers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, QA teams, and healthcare domain stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain test documentation, automation standards, and reusable testing components.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of automation frameworks, test coverage, and QA processes.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in software testing and test automation.
- Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and/or Playwright.
- Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, or another programming language used for test automation.
- Experience developing and maintaining automation frameworks using TestNG, JUnit, Cypress, Playwright Test, or similar frameworks.
- Strong understanding of API testing using Postman, Rest Assured, or equivalent tools.
- Strong experience with SQL and database/backend validation.
- Experience developing automated functional and regression test suites.
- Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and QA processes.
- Strong analytical, debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Experience working with Azure or AWS cloud environments.
- Experience with test reporting and observability tools such as Allure, Application Insights, or Splunk.
- Experience with automated test execution and reporting in CI/CD environments.
