We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Junior IT Service Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of our laptop inventory. Your primary focus will be conducting quality control (QC) testing on received equipment, traveling to site inspections, and performing hardware repairs and part replacements.
This is an excellent entry-to-junior level opportunity for someone passionate about computer hardware, troubleshooting, and field service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Control (QC): Inspect, test, and audit incoming laptops to ensure they meet hardware and software functional standards.
- Hardware Repair & Servicing: Diagnose hardware issues, disassemble laptops, and replace or repair components (screens, keyboards, batteries, RAM, storage drives, and motherboards).
- Field Inspections: Travel to local client sites or partner locations to inspect IT assets and assess equipment conditions.
- Software Setup: Flash BIOS, install/reinstall operating systems (Windows/macOS), and configure basic drivers.
- Inventory & Logging: Accurately document repair logs, QC checklists, and part usage in our inventory system.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience: 1–2 years of hands-on experience repairing laptops/PCs (professional or strong hobbyist experience welcome).
- Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of laptop hardware components and troubleshooting methodologies.
- Detail-Oriented: Ability to spot minor hardware defects or performance glitches during QC.
- Mobility: Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for local inspection travel.
Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
