Key Responsibilities
- Research breaking news and identify trending story ideas.
- Gather facts, timelines, statistics, and information from credible sources.
- Verify and fact-check information before submission.
- Prepare research briefs for the editorial and scriptwriting teams.
- Monitor news websites, government portals, and social media for emerging stories.
- Suggest unique story angles and provide background research.
Requirements
- Strong English reading and comprehension skills (Mandatory).
- Basic to good Hindi understanding (Hinglish is acceptable).
- Excellent internet research and fact-checking skills.
- Strong interest in current affairs, politics, geopolitics, business, and international affairs.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- UPSC aspirants or students/graduates in Political Science, Journalism, Law, International Relations, or related fields.
- Familiarity with Reuters, AP, AFP, PTI, Bloomberg, BBC, The Hindu, Indian Express, PIB, and official government sources.
- Prior experience in research, journalism, or content creation is a plus.
