Job Title: Electrical Estimation Engineer
Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu
Job Summary
We are looking for an Electrical Estimation Engineer with experience in preparing electrical project quotations, BOQs, cost estimates, and tender submissions for commercial, industrial, and residential projects. The candidate should be capable of studying drawings, calculating quantities, obtaining material pricing, and preparing techno-commercial proposals.
Responsibilities
- Study electrical drawings, BOQs, and tender documents.
- Prepare quantity take-offs from electrical drawings.
- Estimate material and labour costs for projects.
- Prepare detailed quotations and cost sheets.
- Coordinate with suppliers for material pricing.
- Compare vendor quotations and prepare cost analysis.
- Prepare tender submissions and technical documents.
- Maintain estimation database and rate analysis records.
- Coordinate with clients for technical clarifications when required.
Requirements
- Diploma / B.E. in Electrical Engineering.
- 2–5 years experience in electrical estimation and tendering.
- Knowledge of electrical materials, cables, cable trays, panels, lighting, earthing, and industrial installations.
- Ability to read AutoCAD drawings and electrical schematics.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel.
- Experience in preparing BOQs and quotations.
- Knowledge of Chennai market rates will be an added advantage.

Salary
₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month (Based on experience)
