Key Responsibilities:
* Credit & Advances Monitoring: Review pre-sanction diligence, post-disbursement documentation, sanction limit compliances, drawing power calculations, and timely renewal/review of credit facilities.
* NPA Early Warning: Track early warning signals (SMA-0, SMA-1, SMA-2 accounts), irregular servicing, overdues, and potential non-performing assets to ensure accurate asset classification.
* Revenue Leakage Prevention: Verify interest rates, penal interest application, processing charges, commitment fees, and non-interest income to detect and prevent revenue leakages.
* Cash & Security Verification: Conduct periodic verification of cash balances, ATM operations, vault security, locker registers, and safe-custody items.
* KYC / AML & Deposit Operations: Audit new account openings, ensure strict adherence to KYC/AML guidelines, monitor high-value/suspicious transactions, and examine large cash deposits/withdrawals.
* Forex & Trade Finance (if applicable): Verify Letter of Credit (LC), Bank Guarantee (BG) issuance, inward/outward remittances, and regulatory filings (EDPMS/IDPMS).
* Reporting & Compliance Closure: Prepare monthly/quarterly concurrent audit reports with proper evidence, discuss draft findings with Branch Management, and follow up for rectification/closure.
* Education: Semi-Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA Inter / IPCC / CA Finalist), MBA in Finance, or M.Com / B.Com with specialized banking audit experience.
* Experience: 1–3 years of hands-on experience in Bank Concurrent Audits, Statutory Bank Branch Audits, or Internal Audits.
Technical & Core Skills:
* Strong working knowledge of Core Banking Solutions (CBS) like Finacle, BaNCS, or Flexcube.
* Practical understanding of RBI Master Directions (IRAC norms, Priority Sector Lending, Credit Risk, KYC/AML).
* Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Data Validation).
