Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Smart 3D (SP3D) Administrator to support major Oil & Gas engineering projects. The incumbent will be responsible for the administration, configuration, customization, and maintenance of the SP3D environment, ensuring seamless support to multidisciplinary engineering and design teams throughout FEED, Detailed Engineering, and EPC project phases.
Key Responsibilities
- Administrator and maintain Hexagon Smart 3D (SP3D) applications and project environments.
- Configure project databases, plant structures, workshare environments, and user access controls.
- Develop and maintain SP3D catalogs, specifications, reference data, and engineering standards.
- Manage software installation, upgrades, patches, licensing, and system performance.
- Administer SQL Server databases, including backup, restoration, and data integrity management.
- Support integration with SmartPlant Foundation (SPF/SDx), SmartPlant P&ID, SPI, SmartPlant Review, Navisworks, and other engineering tools.
- Configure and maintain orthographic drawings, isometrics, reports, Labels, and model deliverables.
- Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and user training to engineering and design teams.
- Conduct model audits and quality checks to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
- Coordinate with engineering disciplines, IT teams, and project stakeholders for effective project execution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent.
- Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in SP3D Administration within Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or EPC projects.
- Experience in FEED, Detailed Engineering, Brownfield and Greenfield projects.
- Middle East project experience preferred.

Preferred Competencies

- Prior experience working on projects for major Middle East National Oil Companies (NOCs) will be an advantage; direct experience on ADNOC projects will be considered a strong plus.
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary and multicultural environment.
