Handle end-to-end import clearance operations
Prepare and verify import documentation including: Bill of Lading, Commercial Invoice, Packing List
Ensure accurate tally of cargo with invoice and packing list at the time of receiving and examination.
Classify imported goods under correct Customs Tariff Heading (CTH/HS Code) as per customs regulations.
Prepare and file Bill of Entry through EDI system (ICEGATE) and ensure error-free submission.
Coordinate with Customs officials stationed at ICD-CWC for document verification and clearance approvals.
Handle RMS (Risk Management System) cases, including facilitation and examination shipments.
Assist in customs examination and cargo inspection within CWC warehouse premises.
Manage destuffing operations of containers and ensure proper cargo handling inside the ICD.
Coordinate with CWC warehouse staff for: Cargo storage, Space allocation
Ensure compliance with ICD procedures, customs regulations, and CWC operational guidelines.
Monitor and control dwell time to avoid demurrage and detention charges.
Handle bonded cargo operations, including warehousing and ex-bond Bill of Entry processing.
Liaise with: Customs House Agents (CHA), Transporters, Shipping lines, Importers
Maintain proper gate entry, delivery orders, and cargo release documentation.
Track shipment status and provide timely updates to clients/stakeholders.
Maintain records for customs audits and internal compliance checks.
Resolve issues such as: Cargo mismatch, Documentation errors, Customs queries
