Job Overview
Divya Delhi News is looking for a motivated and experienced Education Counsellor to guide students and parents regarding educational programs, courses, admissions, and career opportunities. The ideal candidate should have strong communication and counselling skills and be comfortable interacting with students and parents.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel students and parents regarding courses, colleges, admissions, and career options.
- Understand students’ educational goals and recommend suitable programs.
- Handle enquiries through phone calls, messages, and face-to-face interactions.
- Follow up with prospective students and maintain regular communication.
- Explain course details, eligibility, fees, admission procedures, and career prospects.
- Maintain student records and update enquiry/follow-up details.
- Achieve counselling and admission-related targets.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure a smooth admission process.
Requirements
- Female candidate with 1–3 years of experience in education counselling, admissions, tele-counselling, or a related field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good interpersonal and convincing skills.
- Ability to build rapport with students and parents.
- Basic computer knowledge and proficiency in MS Office/Google Workspace.
- Positive attitude, confidence, and target-oriented approach.
