About the Role
The Senior Full Stack Engineer serves as a key contributor across all development streams, owning end-to-end delivery of complex features that span both frontend and backend. In this senior role, the engineer mentors junior team members, contributes to architectural decisions, and ensures technical excellence across the Product platform. The engineer works with framework components, the Product BFF services, and the portal UI to deliver integrated solutions.
Key Responsibilities
· Feature and Tech Implementations (FE+BE) - Design, develop, test, and deliver full-stack features. Own complex end-to-end features from UI through API gateway.
· Tech Support (FE+BE) - Provide installation, configuration, and operational support for full-stack solutions deployed in demo and customer non-prod environments.
· Task Breakdown & Estimation - Lead detailed work breakdown and estimation for full-stack stories; provide realistic plans for prioritised deliverables.
· Team Coordination & Resource Allocation - Coordinate with cross-stream teams to align frontend and backend deliverables; coordinate with QA for comprehensive full-stack test strategies.
· Collaboration & Reporting - Track progress using OpenProject/Jira (or similar tracking tools); provide daily/weekly status updates with transparency on blockers, risks, and dependencies.
· Solution Architecture & Design (under guidance) - Collaborate with Architects to understand solution architecture and contribute to high-level and low-level design decisions; ensure designs are scalable and maintainable.
· Reviews & Feedback - Perform thorough peer reviews of code, documents, and designs across both frontend and backend; ensure quality standards are met.
· Operations & Reviews - Participate in project reviews; ensure full-stack deliverables comply with overall product goals.
· Backlog Management & Grooming - Attend and contribute to backlog grooming sessions; provide technical context for full-stack requirements.
· Issue Triage & Problem Resolution - Lead triage of cross-cutting issues in development and production environments; escalate when necessary.
· Mentorship & Performance Appraisal (as mentor) - Mentor junior engineers and Architects; provide constructive feedback and support performance goal-setting.
Required Skills
· Front-End Technologies: Expert proficiency in React and Next.js; solid experience with TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
· Back-End Technologies: Expert proficiency in Go (Echo framework); strong experience building REST APIs and microservices.
· Systems Design: Proficient in scalable systems design, distributed systems patterns, and microservices architecture.
· Integration Technologies: Strong proficiency in API/REST design; expert-level working knowledge of OAuth2/OIDC, JWT, and Temporal workflow orchestration.
· Persistence Technologies: Experience with PostgreSQL (including graph capabilities) for relational data modeling.
· DevOps Practice: Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI) and containerised deployments (Docker, Kubernetes).
· Tools Proficiency: Proficiency with Git and project management tools.
· Enterprise Solution Design: Working understanding of enterprise solution design principles.
Preferred Skills
· Experience building Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) services and API gateway patterns.
· Experience with Elasticsearch/OpenSearch for full-text search with RBAC.
· Experience with S3-compatible object storage integration.
· Experience with observability frameworks (monitoring, logging, distributed tracing).
· Experience mentoring junior engineers in a product development environment.
Pay: ₹380,808.69 - ₹700,000.00 per year
