Job Summary
We are looking for a passionate and knowledgeable Observatory Educator who has a strong interest in Astronomy, Space Science, and Physics. The candidate will be responsible for conducting educational sessions, astronomy workshops, telescope observations, and interactive learning activities for students and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging astronomy and space science sessions for students and participants.
- Explain astronomical concepts in a simple and interactive manner.
- Operate and assist with telescopes and observatory equipment during observation sessions.
- Guide students during stargazing activities and night sky observations.
- Organize workshops, educational events, and astronomy-related activities.
- Create a fun and informative learning environment for students of different age groups.
- Answer participant questions related to astronomy, planets, stars, galaxies, and space exploration.
- Support educational outreach programs and science communication initiatives.
- Coordinate with internal teams for event planning and session management.
- Maintain observatory equipment and ensure proper handling during sessions.
- Encourage curiosity and scientific learning among students.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physics, Astronomy, Astrophysics, or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of Astronomy and Space Science.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Passion for teaching and science education.
- Ability to explain scientific concepts clearly and interactively.
- Basic understanding of telescopes and observational astronomy is preferred.
- Freshers with strong subject knowledge and interest can also apply.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹33,000.00 per month
