Job Overview
Galaxy Pizza is looking for a passionate and experienced Barista Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate should have extensive knowledge of coffee preparation, excellent customer service skills, and experience working with premium café brands. The candidate will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, maintaining coffee equipment, and delivering an exceptional guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
Coffee & Beverage Preparation
- Prepare espresso-based beverages, cappuccinos, lattes, americanos, flat whites, mochas, cold brews, and other specialty drinks.
- Ensure consistency in beverage quality, taste, and presentation.
- Perform latte art and maintain premium presentation standards.
- Recommend beverages based on customer preferences.
Customer Service
- Welcome guests with a warm and professional attitude.
- Provide exceptional customer service and create a memorable café experience.
- Handle guest queries and complaints professionally.
- Upsell beverages, desserts, and bakery products.
Operations
- Operate and maintain espresso machines, coffee grinders, and brewing equipment.
- Monitor coffee bean quality, milk freshness, and inventory levels.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the coffee station.
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards.
- Support daily café operations when required.
Eligibility Criteria
✅ Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Barista.
✅ Experience with premium café brands is mandatory.
✅ Excellent English communication skills.
✅ Strong knowledge of specialty coffee, brewing techniques, and espresso extraction.
✅ Ability to perform latte art.
✅ Knowledge of coffee bean origins, roasting profiles, and brewing methods.
✅ Professional grooming and customer-focused attitude.
