IMMEDIATE JOINERS CAN APPLY
Role Summary
We are seeking a Software Engineer with 3–4 years of experience to join our development team working on two key initiatives: the Manufacturing Execution Platform Modernization project (upgrading a globally deployed Manufacturing Execution System for global manufacturing client across 11 sites) and the AI workflow automation platform (an AI-enabled digital workflow platform for SAP S/4HANA business process automation). You will work primarily with Microsoft .NET technologies, C#, SQL Server, and Blazor, while also contributing to API integrations, web portal development, and AI-assisted workflow features.
This is a hands-on development role reporting to the US-based architect. You will be responsible for feature development, bug fixes, testing, and deployment support across both projects in a cross-border agile delivery model.
Key Responsibilities
Manufacturing Execution Platform Modernization
- Upgrade manufacturing execution APIs and services from .NET 8.0 to .NET 10.0 (LTS) across 11 global sites with minimal downtime.
- Refactor the existing Windows Forms tablet application to Microsoft Blazor for cross-platform support.
- Work with DevExpress XPO (ORM layer) and XAF (admin app framework) — convert MongoDB reads to SQL Server via XPO, update data access patterns.
- Support database rationalization — clean manufacturing execution code of references to ~540 unused database tables, update DevExpress XAF Admin App model.
- Write and execute SQL scripts for database modifications with backup/rollback safety procedures.
- Participate in UAT at the Bhiwadi (India) site with production-like data; support site-wise deployments (~1 hour downtime window per site).
AI Workflow Automation Platform
- Develop the web portal frontend and backend for omnichannel document intake (web upload, email, API, bulk upload).
- Build REST API endpoints for SAP S/4HANA integration — create, change, and query operations for Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders, Goods Receipts, Invoices, Sales Orders, and more.
- Implement digital approval workflows with configurable approval matrices (by transaction type, value, region, business unit, cost center, hierarchy).
- Integrate SSO using SAML 2.0 / OAuth 2.0 / OpenID Connect with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
- Develop end-to-end tracking with unique Work ID — audit trail logging for user actions, approvals, data changes, SAP responses, errors, and retries.
- Build reporting dashboards and KPI views — Straight-Through Processing %, AI Resolution Rate %, First-Time-Right %, workflow TAT by stage.
- Implement RBAC (role-based access control) with least-privilege and segregation of duties.
General Development
- Write clean, maintainable, well-tested C# code following secure coding standards.
- Participate in code reviews, peer programming, and technical discussions with the US-based architect.
- Create and maintain technical documentation — architecture diagrams, API docs, deployment runbooks.
- Support CI/CD pipelines using Git and Azure DevOps (or equivalent) for build, test, and deployment automation.
