- Design and architect enterprise-level PTC's Windchill PLM solutions aligned with automotive industry standards and business requirements.
- Define end-to-end Windchill PLM architecture (Windchill PDMLink, MPMLink, ProjectLink, etc.).
- Design scalable, high-availability, and secure Windchill solutions.
- Lead system upgrades, migrations, and cloud/on-prem deployments.
- Establish PLM best practices, standards, and governance models.
- Lead Windchill configuration, customization, and extensions using Java, J2EE, and Windchill APIs.
- Design workflows, lifecycles, object models, and access controls.
- Oversee UI customization (JSP, UI components, ThingWorx integration if applicable).
- Architect and manage integrations between Windchill and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
- MES, ALM, and other enterprise systems.
- Use web services, REST/SOAP APIs, and middleware where applicable.
- Ensure system performance, reliability, and security.
- Troubleshoot complex Windchill issues and provide root-cause analysis.
- Guide L3/L4 support teams and review technical solutions.
- Act as technical advisor to stakeholders and business teams.
- Mentor developers and PLM engineers.
- Work closely with business, IT, and vendors to align PLM strategy.
- The candidate will be responsible for consulting with clients to understand their needs and provide appropriate PLM solutions.
- The candidate will be responsible for configuring and implementing PLM software, specifically PTC Windchill.
- The candidate will be responsible for managing projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
