We are looking for a passionate Social Media & Community Engagement Specialist to build, manage, and grow our online travel communities. The ideal candidate will actively engage with travelers across Facebook Groups, WhatsApp Communities, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Reddit, and other travel forums to increase brand awareness, generate holiday enquiries, and build lasting customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Community Engagement
- Build and manage travel-focused communities across Facebook Groups, WhatsApp Communities, Telegram, and other platforms.
- Engage with potential travelers by answering holiday-related questions and participating in travel discussions.
- Welcome new members and encourage active participation.
- Create engaging posts, travel tips, destination highlights, polls, quizzes, and discussion topics.
- Foster a friendly, helpful, and travel-focused community.
Lead Generation
- Generate qualified holiday enquiries through community engagement.
- Promote holiday packages, seasonal offers, and exclusive deals in relevant travel groups.
- Convert social media interactions into enquiries for the sales team.
- Support marketing campaigns to increase bookings.
Social Media Management
- Manage brand engagement across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, and YouTube.
- Respond promptly to comments, direct messages, reviews, and customer enquiries.
- Encourage customers to share travel experiences, photos, and testimonials.
Collaboration
- Work closely with the marketing, design, content, SEO, and sales teams to create engaging travel campaigns.
- Coordinate promotional activities for new destinations, offers, and seasonal holidays.
- Share customer feedback and insights to improve marketing strategies.
Analytics & Reporting
- Monitor community growth, engagement, and lead generation.
- Track KPIs such as engagement rate, enquiry volume, response time, and conversion rates.
- Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports with recommendations for improvement.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience in social media and community management.
- Experience engaging audiences in Facebook Groups, WhatsApp Communities, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Reddit, and travel forums.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong understanding of customer engagement and online community building.
- Ability to create engaging travel-related content.
- Experience using Meta Business Suite, Canva, Buffer, Hootsuite, or similar tools.
- Basic understanding of SEO and digital marketing.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
