Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Project Engineer – MEP to oversee and manage Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing works for construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for planning, coordination, execution, and ensuring that all MEP activities are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise MEP works at project sites.
- Review and interpret MEP drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, contractors, and vendors.
- Ensure timely execution of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Monitor project progress and prepare daily/weekly reports.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure quality and adherence to standards.
- Manage material procurement and vendor coordination.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry codes.
- Resolve technical issues and provide engineering solutions on-site.
- Support testing, commissioning, and handover of MEP systems.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Good project management and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, MS Excel, and project planning tools.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of relevant codes and standards (e.g., IS, NBC, IEC).
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering (for junior roles).
- Additional certifications in MEP, HVAC design, or project management (preferred).
Experience:
- 2–5 years of experience in MEP projects (construction/real estate/infrastructure).
- Experience in high-rise buildings, commercial projects, or industrial projects is an advantage.
Pay: From ₹30,000.00 per month
