Job Description:
The Manager - Agency HR at Axis Max Life Insurance will be responsible for managing all human resource functions within the agency channel. This role includes developing and implementing HR strategies to enhance employee engagement, drive performance, and support the business objectives. The manager will work closely with agency leaders to identify talent needs, manage recruitment processes, and oversee onboarding and training programs. Additionally, this position will handle employee relations, performance management, and compliance with labor laws and regulations. The Manager - Agency HR will also play a key role in designing and executing employee development initiatives to build a high-performing agency workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies that align with agency business goals.
- Manage recruitment and selection processes for agency personnel.
- Oversee onboarding and training initiatives for new hires.
- Foster employee engagement and maintain positive employee relations.
- Handle performance management processes and support agency leaders in performance evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with relevant labor laws and regulations.
- Design and implement employee development programs and career progression plans.
- Collaborate with other HR teams to streamline processes and share best practices.
- Analyze HR metrics and provide insights to agency leadership.

- Strong understanding of HR practices, including recruitment, performance management, and employee relations.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in HR management, preferably within the insurance or financial services sector.
- Certification in HR (such as SHRM-CP or PHR) is an advantage.
- Previous experience in working with agency distribution channels is a plus.
