Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed HVAC system drawings: layout plans, ducting diagrams, P&IDs, and isometric views Lead design coordination with internal engineering teams, project managers, architects, and customers Review and ensure compliance with codes and standards (e.g., ASHRAE, ISHRAE, NBC, cGMP) Submit designs for customer and consultant approval, and incorporate technical feedback Perform detailed heat load calculations and psychrometric analysis to determine HVAC system capacity and design parameters. Develop technical documentation, including equipment schedules, BOQ, BOM, and material specifications Coordinate with other MEP disciplines for interdisciplinary integration Conduct site-level design handovers, and support construction and commissioning when required Prepare and validate qualification documents: DQ, IQ, OQ, PQ Maintain organized design files and adhere to internal documentation processes Stay abreast of latest technologies, tools, and design practices for energy efficiency and performance Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and support in building internal design standards
